Mừng vía Địa Tạng bồ tát - KSITIGARBHA BODHISATTVA day

Hàng năm, vào ngày 30-7 Âm lịch là ngày Vía Địa Tạng Bồ tát (tiếng Phạn là KSITIGARBHA BODHISATTVA).

Người Trung Quốc gọi Ngài là Dizang, người Nhật gọi ngài là Jizo.

Ở Nhật có 1 lễ hội diễn ra hàng năm về Địa Tạng Bồ tát gọi là JIZO BON, ngày này được tổ chức cho các em nhỏ vui chơi và có các vị sư làm lễ cầu nguyện cho các em trước bàn thờ và tôn tượng Địa Tạng Bồ tát.

Người Nhật quan niệm Địa Tạng Bồ tát như một vị bảo vệ trẻ em (Protector of children).

Vì vậy các bàn thờ Địa Tạng Bồ tát công cộng ở các đường phố Nhật đều có bày những đôi dép nhỏ của trẻ em, với mong muốn ngài sẽ đi nhiều nơi cứu giúp các trẻ em đang bị thống khổ.

Khi ngài đi nhiều thì sẽ mòn nhiều đôi dép nên dân chúng thường dâng lên ngài nhiều đôi dép trẻ con.

Ở Việt Nam, một số chùa cũng có tổ chức ngày Vía Địa Tạng Bồ tát nhằm vào Tết Trung thu, tức là tổ chức Trung thu theo nghi thức Phật giáo, có phát quà Trung thu cho trẻ em, cho các em làm lễ tắm cho ngài Địa Tạng, dâng hương hoa cúng ngài và chơi các trò chơi vận động, múa lân, thi vẽ tô màu hình Phật…

Vía Địa Tạng Bồ tát năm nay Miss La Sen và các bạn của cô (nhân vật hoạt hình trong trò chơi và truyện tranh SORIM) cũng dâng hương hoa, đèn, nến cho ngài Địa Tạng qua một số hình ảnh dưới đây.

"Miss La Sen girl dog doll is known of bringing good fortune, joy, happiness, proctection and prosperity, money. Miss La Sen appeared in 2010. She is a kind nurse in Sorim town. Her face is pretty. That is a nice, lovely and kind icon but it's rather simple.

Because in her bow, there is the Buddhist protective mantra symbol, it is Ksitigarbha boddhisatva mantra- " HA" syllable . Miss La Sen goes out from Ksitigarbha bodhisattva's legend. That's the fairy white dog which can speak human voices, can help everyone, all living beings. This dog can transform in many forms....

In Buddhism, Ksitigarbha bodhisattva can protect people from the devil, the sorrow, the anxity, the ghost, the accidents, unlucky or dangerous things.

It’s said that Miss La Sen wears the lucky OM mantra at her flower on her right ear.[ Om mani padme hum mantra]

Miss La Sen stands while holding the bowl with Zambala symbol- Zambala is the God of Wealth in Tibet. Miss La Sen is a fictional character which belongs to Hi LA SEN company.

Now, Miss La Sen becomes the popular decoration ornament because people think that it can bring them the luck, joy,the protection and the good fortune,money, invite happiness, and bring prosperity to businesses, company. Miss La Sen is a vegetarian. All Sorim citizens are vegetarians.Specially, she often wears traditional Vietnamese costume- Ao dai. She usually encourages to be vegetarian, help the other person, practice zen, save our earth, save our environment, save animals, help Stop climate change .... It's a kind and clement icon. She has immense compassion.

This character was created by the founder of HI LA SEN company[ Ms. Tu Tran].She drew this icon for children. They can wear this icon to protect from the dangerous things, accidents…. Lyric of HI LA SEN-HI NICE LIFE song was also written by this founder of HI LA SEN company. Music, beat of this song made by Khanh Chau Tran, and music mix made by Fan studio.

Some Vietnameses set Miss La Sen doll at the entrances of homes, in their rooms, in shop windows, on their working tables, shops, companies, working rooms, and children’s rooms, even before the cars…

Miss La Sen dolls are bought to give to the other people on the occasion of the holidays, birthdays, exams, new job, when they get married, have children … as a joyful blessing.'

Some Vietnamese newspapers called Miss La Sen" The Lucky Doll". The young people love this icon and they would also like to meet Miss La Sen mascot.

Miss La Sen also appeared in ” Story at SORIM town”[Chuyện thị trấn Sorim] comic book, in SORIM STORY funny boardgame, in “HI LA SEN- HI NICE LIFE” song, T-shirts, handbags, wooden dolls, purses...etc . And perhaps this icon will appear in Sorim Story mobile game soon. Miss La Sen's animation film will be launched in 2015.

On 28th June 2014, SORIM STORY boardgame wins Top 100 best products, services for families and children 2014 in Hanoi.

On Vesak 2014, MISS LA SEN appeared on official website of VIETNAM BUDDHISTSANGHA to celebrate this Buddhist event.
